This first one seems kinda dumb to me but here it goes. When i turn the nut on the top of the shock should the whole thing turn? like the whole rod going into the shock. should that whole thing turn? mine does.

and second does anyone know the specs for the bolt that holds the ball joint in? i messed mine up.

an 8mm? socket to hold the shaft in place and 17mm wrench to turn the nut

im trying to put it back on and the top of the shaft spins when i tighten the nut so really im not tightening anything im just spinning the the shock rod. should that spin? it seems like it shouldnt.

Yeah, you need to hold it with the 8mm hex socket and torque it with the 17mm wrench
