I just looked at all 40+ photos you posted on the web of your engine swap. Very interesting stuff, and thanks for posting all that! I look at that and it makes me wish that I could do something like that...

On to the questions... in image # 35, what is that relay? The one in the left center of the photo?

and in image # 12, tell me a bit about what you got shown there. I can see the carb, but what's the stuff in there?

Do you have a fully-equipped shop to do all this in?

I'm not clear on what pictures you're refering to...From my Fotki album? if so...

I think #12 is of the back of the head, on the left is the distributor on the right is the "throttle body" intake and exhaust manifolds(the head was completely assembled, so it had everything bolted on it)..

That's a circut breaker for my foglights (they're on a relay as well)

All those pics of the engine swap were done in the parking lot behind my apartment!!!
I did the engine assembly there as well!!
My Dad (he's the "old" guy in one of the pics) helped me put the engine AND trans in.
We dropped the sub frame, dropped the old engine and trans onto a dolly with the help of a hoist, then lifted the "new" assembly up into postion!

The photos I'm refering to are from your Fotki album. I was wondering if that was your Dad in the photo. Good that you are keeping him involved in your interests.

Did you repaint the coupe as well? If so, did you do the work, and how much did you have invested in the paint job? It sure looks nice!

I guess that california is the place to do this, since you did all this work outside!
