Putting 4x112mm wheels on the new Quattro... easy, or shoot me now please...
Use 4 rear wheels bearings (75mm OD bearing)
Use 4 5ktq hubs
If keeping the stock rear brakes, all you'll have to do is press it together and it's a tit for tat swap.
For the fronts you need to do a bit of shimming to get the brakes to fit properly. I'm using Porsche boxster calipers w/ A4 carriers to hold an A8 rotor, but Derek used stock A4 calipers on his. You'll need to space the bearing out approx 4mm and the hub out approx 6mm to get it to center properly, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing on mine.
ALSO, you'll need to use 2 4000 ('86 and up) rear axles on the front to make 'em work, and swap the driver's and pass's side axles.
For the axles, uprights and hubs I'm out about $160.
thanks dude!
