Is replacing the front speakers worth the trouble?

Is replacing the front speakers worth the trouble?
They are only 3.5" and from what I've read in the archives they are a PITA to replace correctly. I don't think there is anything majorly wrong with mine except that they are over 15 years old.
On a related note, one of my rear speakers is blown so I have to replace it. Do I have to remove the whole rear deck to do this? I haven't taken a really good look at it yet, but I did notice that you cannot access the rear speaker screws from the trunk area. I'm guessing that I will have to remove the back seat to get the rear deck off. Is this correct? There was nothing on removing the rears when I did a search.
I finally just bought a CD player for the car so I am anxious to exploit a little sound improvement from it.
thanks.

No, the front speakers are crap, unless you buy some nice new 3 way 3 1/2 or some blaupunkt 3 1/2 2way.
and to get the back speakers out you have to remove the back seat and pop out the deck.
if your going through all that trouble get some nice new speakers, sonys x-plode 3 way are awesome
even without a amp.

Re: Is replacing the front speakers worth the trouble?
I don't remember my rear speakers having screws to hold them in place. They had some tabs that sprung against the rear deck to hold them tight. By pushing the tabs in, the speakers just pushed back through the opening (into the passenger compartment). I also don't remember having to take the back seat or rear deck out.
I have an 86 4kQ, not a CGT which may make a difference on the rear.
The front speakers are more difficult to do and you really need to get access from underneath the speaker to perform a professional/quality job.
