Default Starting issues

Robbis posted a thread for me a few days ago but I think it will be easier if I attempt to explain my symptoms.

I purchased an 86 4k quattro at a local auto auction the other day. It started and drove the day I purchased it. I went to drive it home a few days later and the car will not start.

It cranks and has spark to the plugs. I tried starting fluid and still no fire. The spare fuse is intact. It has been raining like a bitch the last few days I don't know if that has something to do with it.

how do I check the cold start injector? Could it have jumped timing in the days since I started it?

Are the plugs saturated with fuel after cranking?

Default Starts in Dry Weather and not in Wet is a symptom of...

Bad wires.

I currently have that issue and plan on replacing my ignition wires and perhaps rotor and cap over the winter storage period.

Default Not really saturated but I can definately smell fuel and

there was fuel on the plugs but they weren't dripping with fuel.

I doubt it will be running by then. I might just try to take it to a shopor something. I don't have time. It really pisses me off that the car ran when I bought it and when I picked it up it didnt run!
