Default A tough time starting

A new problem has developed with my 4000Q. It seems the only way to get the car started after it has not been used for a couple of hours is to push the gas pedal all the way to the floor while cranking the starter for 20 seconds or so. Once the car finally kicks on, it runs like a top. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

I have the same problem, but after it starts running, it idles extremely rough. It won't take any gas for about 30 seconds. It sputters for awhile. Once warm, it seems OK.
