Transmission Woes =(
i pulled a 5speed transmission out of a 1984 4000S 4Cyl. 1.8l to put in my car and it doesn't fit. the bell housing is too big. so i went back only too see that who ever owned it before cut thier chassis to make it fit.
any ideas on how to tell what kind of motor this transmission is actually for?
don't they usually put the vin on the motor, chassis and tranny?
i can take pictures of it if anyone can tell by eye.
