Default Well, the DIY sunroof seal

Is doing well! To my surprise its pretty good. Glad I let it sit in the closed position for a week before doing anything drastic. Having the roof slide back too is an added bonus!! It rained this morning, and as I had expected (just like with the old seal), no rain inside. Never had that issue, but ya never know.

Just wanted to share some success with this after saying it had failed. I can provide more detailed pictures of the seal and its OEM appearance. It looks very nice!

Default Did you repair it as the post from that other forum?

BTW, I got the package from you, in great shape, no apparent shipping damages.

a thousand thanks!

Default I used the factory sunroof manual

I used to (before I knew better) attach the rain tray levers with the sunroof tilted, you arent supposed to do that.

I need to cash your money order, I should do that tonight. Work has been keeping me busy
