X-post: Lil help with part numbers if you guys have an ETKA
Trying to figure out some info on prices for head gasket R&R and whatever else I might need (timing belt as well since it will be apart).
I'm asking the guys over on the B5 forum cuz there are a couple parts counter guys there, but figured I'd see if you guys might have 'em off hand too.
Thanks for the help fellas!!!<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2382757.phtml">link to the B5 forum</a></li></ul>

Id just go online...
To a worldpac retailer (www.azautohaus.com or www.importec.com).
They should have everything you need.
You will need.
Headgasket
Head bolts (10 or 12, I forget)
Thermostat
Waterpump (I have a Graf pump)
Timing belt
Accessory belts
Front main seal (optional)
Coolant (phosphate free)
Camshaft seal (if needed)
Valve cover gasket (if needed)
New exhaust manifold studs, nuts, washers (optional)
New intake manifold bolts (optional)
Timing belt roller
I think that covers it. Replace any bad coolant hoses as well. When doing a big job like the timing belt, make sure to put the motor at TDC BEFORE you start tearing things apart.
If you really want individual PN's, I can dig around and find the ones I used for my MC motor, which should be almost the same parts, minus the headgasket and headbolts (I used ARP headstuds).
You will also need a tool to lock the crank while you bolt/unbolt the large crank bolt.
They should have everything you need.

Ok, I'll have to check that out...
if you have any p/n's handy that'd be great, if not don't worry about it.
Thanks for the list though... that will at least give me a ballpark on what it'd cost.

ok, autohaus did the trick for what I needed... question though...
I noticed that they sold a head gasket, and a head gasket "set" You have any idea what the difference is besides the price? I'm assuming it comes with everything needed to do it, but does that include the head bolts? I wasn't sure of any other gaskets besides the head gasket on the cyl head (other than the obvious intake, exhaust, etc gaskets)
Do I need to get the sets or just the individual seals?
Thanks for the help buddy, much appreciated.
