Possible GTG sometime this season??? We will be travaling to NHIS, Lime Rock, Pocono, Watkins Glenn, and Road Atlanta... Possible others, not sure yet. Let us know what you think. We can get everyone in for free to most of the events. Let us know in advance

I put some pictures of what the cars look like now over in the motorsports section and also explained a little bit about who we are. Check out the link below to go to that thread!!! and be sure to check out our website!!!

Default The 2.3 is classified in ITA

We run in ITB Which allows the same modifications but generally the ITB cars have less performance potential than ITA cars. The 2.3 with the 4 wheel disc brakes runs in ITA. I have never seen one raced and I don't think it would be competitive against the Integra's, Miata's, 240's and CRX's. We run against Volvo's 142, BMW 2002,BMW 318, VW golf, VW GTI, SAAB 900, Opal GT, Opal Manta, Ford Escort, Dodge Omni 2.2, ect.

The Coupes need to weigh at least 2,490 LBS with driver at the end of the race. We have to run 50 lbs of balast. We also know how many lbs of gas the car uses per lap and we are generally about 5lbs or so over the minimum at the finish.

The Coupe GT (bigger brakes, new bumpers, etc.) has a Min. weight req. of 2540 in ITB.

The 2.3L ITA Coupe GT also has a min. weight of 2,540.

Default November 4th-7th. We should have an Audi 5+5 added to the fleet by then also.

Schedule for the 2004 American Road Race of Champions (ARRC).

Thursday November 4th: Testing
Friday November 5th: Practice/Qualifying
Saturday November 6th: Sprint Race (This is the "big" race day and a must see for any race fans) National IT Champion declaired.
Sunday November 7th: Endurance Race

This event is a must see for any race enthusiest. the best from all over the country come to duke it out (last year their was also an Audi from Denver Colorado). IMO last years races were as good as the Speed Touring races and much better than the Speed GT races (thats just for a comparison). Anyway well worth the visit for any race fan.

http://www.arrc-online.com./
