Default 1987 Audi 5000CS Alternator Questions..

So i believe my alternator is starting to crap the bed on my 1987 Audi 5000CS TQ(with AC), and i own another Audi, a 1990 100 Quattro(with AC) now on that car i installed a 110a alternator and had no mounting issues, i am wondering if i can do the same with the 5000CS?
Basically just looking to go from the 90a alternator on there to a 110a Bosch AL179X.
FCPEuro says not compatible while Eeuroparts says it is compatible.
Just looking for some peoples opinions here, thank you!

If you can double check visually, I would, but in general the alternators were interchangeable.

Thank you so much for the reply!
i thought they were, the only thing that had me questioning it really was on FCPEuro it says there is one 90a alternator with a W terminal and the other says W/O W terminal, but in the photos they look identical.
