Im going to be pulling the exhaust system off one V8 and putting it onto another. Im assuming I'll have to do the cats all the way to the tailpipe. Im basicly hoping to mix and match between the 2 and get one 'better' system. I'm open to the posibility that I might need to get a few of the parts new.

Im doing this because my mechanic told me that the exhaust system a) has holes in it, muffler included b) one of the cats has been swapped for an aftermarket one and has been welded in etc etc etc.

Iv gotten the diagrams and it all looks pretty simple. But I do have a couple of questions:

Do I need to order each seal / locking bolts(?) seperatly or does anyone know of a repair kit? If theres no repair kit, what should I order?

Also, how difficult is pulling taking of and putting on an exhaust system?
