Default So, the MC2 and NF have the same cam, or no?

I have heard that the MC2 and NG cams are the same, I thought the NF/NG were different only in the porting to accomodate (or not) fuel injectors in the head. So, does the NF head I put, with its cam, on my MC1 correspond to MC2 specs or do I need to get one from an actual MC2? Thought I had an MC2 cam all this time!!

Default Nope...

The NG cam used in the second production run starting in May of 1989 is the same as the MC2 from the stats I have found (I have no way of knowing how correct the information is). The NF is definitely different. It will be VERY interesting to see what differences you feel if you find an MC2 cam.

Looks like the NF is the same as the MC1 though.
