Hey guys. Just a quick question, does anyone know the
trunk's measurements for the V8?

I'd check measurements myself, but my V8's in the shop w/shot steering rack

Dealer can't help......(figures)

I'm looking into spoiler.....probably the 4k but not sure, just keeping options open.

force5auto has one (or did) that is off a 200 (i think its lago blue)...i don't think the 4kq one will be wide enough, or the correct profile to mount up. the 4kq is just a "bit" narrower than the t44 chassis...

found the link...its a zender spoiler, and is lago...<ul><li><a href="http://www.force5auto.com/pages/parts/zenderwing.htm">Zender Wing @ Force5</a></li></ul>

Chris over at the Qlist had one on his 5000T. It looked great and I've been thinking of doing it myself. Much better looking than the Zender wing IMHO.

Would it fit on a V8? I would ASSUME so. I think the V8 trunk lid is the same size as other type 44 cars...

Yeah, I saw that one and talked to Chris about it. It's a cool one, especially since my V8 is already lago blue, but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

I actually thought the 4k was a better option because it resembles the DTM version the most....which is what I was after. The real DTM spoiler is by far IMPOSSIBLE to find.

But, again, just trying to keep my options open.....

there's a part number split after a certain chassis #...somewhere in the 1988 MY i believe. probably for the lock mechanism stuff (moved locations). anyway, i don't think the profile of the trunk lid changed, so if the 4kq spoiler does in fact fit the earlier 5k then it should fit both the later 5k/200 as well as the V8 (same PN for the lid). the profile of the 4kq lid must be close enough for the spoiler to bolt on to the t44.
