Default Staged

1. No gas or oil
2. No blood
3. At that speed the debris field should be larger
4. Where are the uniforms?
5. The air bags should have gone off

It looks like everybody on this forum had an opinion last time it was posted.
Side note-
I'm 160 lbs. I've gone from 0-35 mph in an instant. I went very far.

Default I've seen airbags NOT deploy when most think they should have...

The front airbags (which that A3 would only have fronts) will not deploy if the car is hit from the side or near the side of the front corner, only a frontal (straight on or offset) will trigger them.

Also, there is a person in uniform, that car DEFINATELY hit that tree, as well as the rear end hit that matches up with another tree. Things may not always do what you expect them. Without knowing a whole lot more on that accident and what lead up to it, you can't say what it should look like, because you don't know ;-)

I know.
But I'm 70% sure it was staged. I wouldn't bet my life on it... just 5 dollars.

Default No way that's staged I saw a very similiar accident with a 325 in the early 90's that car hit that..

tree hard too!
As for blood and other fluids they not as easy to see as you'd think. I've worked for many salvage yards over the years and you be surprised how few times there was easy to see evidence of injury!

Default Are you saying it's not possible to stage that?

Because it is. It's pretty easy to stage. There's something called the entertainment industry that does it every day - film, TV...
Fluid-
The engine is sitting there with no coolant or oil around.

Default That's too burly to be staged. I agree with Myke...

Its hard to predict where passangers were. I can't say how many times I have sat at the Salvage auction and said, " how did that happen" I saw an 2004 A8 at the auction a few months back that looked like it had hit a kenworth at 100. I was close. I asked an official, and they said that the owner was in Utah on some icy 2 way roads, and a oncoming semi jacked at say 45, and the A8 went right under the trailer at 60. at the auction engine was next to the car at the auction yet no blood anywhere, there were like 10 airbags blown, but no blood. Car had 923 miles on it.
It is odd how coolant is absent, but it isn't on pavement, its in forrest crap that soaks up stuff. I doubt you could see antifreze in that anyways, oil a little bit. I would be interested in seeing the Road from Heli. I want to see how the driver got so twisted up.

Hollywood is good, but and id give it up if someone did stage it, but my opinion is no.
