Default best way to remove dash to replace speedo

my km's and odometer stopped working. took it to a place the repairs them. he said no go on the repair. got one from a junk yard and the guy is going to roll the km's back to read the correct dash reading. how do i take the old one out. 1991 V8Q. Thanks in advance. how long does it take to replace.

Default its tricky and a PITA but i've done it twice.

after removing the screws (3 holding the cluster) pull the cluster out a bit and the right side must go out and down while the left side goes up and inside the cluster hole. this is alot harder then it sounds. but when you hit its sweet spot it comes out without a single problem. you must disconnect the back electrical connectors before it can be totally removed. Install is so much easier. click on the link to paul's white gauge post. theres a little write up that you could use.

how do i take the top of the dash off to remove the cluster.

no need to remove the top of the dash. just the screws that hold the cluster in.
