Default Brake Problem !!Help!! 91 200 turbo can not locate problem????????

Have a 91 200 turbo with new rear rotors, calipers, pads. New front pads.
After normal city driving of about 20-30 minutes the brakes appear to not be releasing all the way. Further driving will emit smoke and smell of burning metal. This only appears to be happening after car temp is close to mid range?
Also ABS not working, Could that have anything to do with it?
Any help would be much appreciated.....

Caliper sticking? Possibly the rears (e-brake mechanism). Sounds like someone bumped a wheel speed sensor while they were at it.

What is involved in fixing this? Wheel speed sensor, didn't even know I had one?

The holes sensors go in can get dirty, or the sensor can get bumped/moved. If you have a bentley, it should tell you how to adjust it, and where it needs to be. Any Audi/car with ABS has wheel speed sensors at each wheel...I personally have never had to mess with them.

Might wanna have the shop fix the abs, sounds like they may have damaged a sensor, perhaps didn't get it seated right.

Master cylinder probably shot, not releasing pressure = dragging brakes

Default A friend of mine had this problem on his Honda.

Turned out to be something in one of the brake lines clogging it, but only sometimes.

Don't ask me how it got in there or what it was (must have been really strong to give enough pressure to keep the brakes on). But they put new brake lines on and everything was good.

Default Agree...

It sounds like a bad Master Cylinder. They've been known to leak internally and clamp up the brakes when things heats up...
