Can someone look up a 2231 fault code (more)....
I have searched on line and found some answers which are somewhat conflicting. Some include timing others don't. Some include MAF sensor others don't. They all seem to include ISV and airleak problems. I definately don't have an air leak. ISV seems ok but I can blow air through it when closed (I have 2 and they both stay open about 3mm when "closed"---normal?)

Idle speed regulation
Idle Air Control valve (N 71) binds when closed
Mass Air Flow Sensor (G 70) offset
Resistance at terminal connector of (N 71)
Idle Air Control valve (N 71) binds when open
Air leak between Mass Air Flow Sensor (G 70) and Idle Air Control valve (N 71)
Idle Air Control valve (N 71) binds when closed
Mass Air Flow Sensor (G 70) offset
Resistance at terminal connector of (N 71)
Idle Air Control valve (N 71) binds when open
Air leak between Mass Air Flow Sensor (G 70) and Idle Air Control valve (N 71)
