cheap Bosch O2 sensor
#4
Run to ground.
I bought a 4 wire sensor for a mid-90's Ford (F150?) that had the OE Ford connector (drops price by about $30). I then bought some of those aftermarket wiring harnesses for Fords. They add on about 2 ft of wiring for Mustang/F150 owners who want to put on headers or whatnot.
I then spliced this into my old sensor's wiring. Now if the sensor goes bad, I don't have to buy a generic $60 4-wire O2S, but a Ford-specific $30 4-wire O2S. AND if the future owner ever wants to spend $130 and get an OE sensor, s/he can.

Yep, wire 4th to chassis ground for better reliabilty.
To wire the new O2 in, lay the new & old next to each other.
Compare length need to match (add in a bit for splicing).
Cut old off near O2 end.
Cut new off closer to plug end.
Splice the 4th wire to a good chassis ground spot.
Splice the 3 wires from each O2 together.
Enojy.
