Finally got the 5k and 2c up on stands... removed the front end and tranny from 5k took out the clutch and flywheel and flywheel sensors... did the same for the 2c... the throwout bearing on the 2c was destroyed.. pieces of it were flying all around in my bell housing which had triggered the magnetic sensors to stop the car from starting.. we swapped the cltuch and flywheel and found out the mount for the throwoutbearing was a little different but it still fit so that is back in there... the tranny is back in the 2c.. the 5k parts car is goin to the salvage yard the end of the week... the 2c is almost ready to go back on the road after 8 months of sittin! however i need new axles! the CVs are clicking when i drive in a straight line so thats no good... can't find em in stock anywhere that i could get them today... BFCP has them for 135 each napa and bond both have them for 70ish each but have to special order them and that would take a week.. i need em soon.. if ur in VT let me know where they are! thanks
