continuing fuel supply issue in 1990 100Q
I posted recently, car loses power, thought Fuel Pump Relay was problem, it is not, problem goes away then comes back, causing a no power-barely able to idle impossible to drive issue, for some reason unplugging the differential pressure regulator allows the car to run enough to drive home, it doesn't run right but it is drivable with the DPR unplugged, found mention of issues with fuel pump ground & wiring under rear seat, will check that tomorrow, need advice

I had a similar problem. The fp relay contacts were burnt from over heating. So I spliced a separate battery to the fuel pump wires in the trunk (make sure polarity was correct) and leave on. Then start engine. I was able to at least drive home. I cut open the FP to discover the siezed impeller caused the high amp draw. The fuse never blew and was actually melted. Even with a new FP it doesn't run like it should. I think I'll check the ground conn as suggested
