Default diff lock 200q

i have fixed so many things on my 200q lately, one of the advantages of retirement from daily driver status, that i am left to fix some more obscure items like the rear diff lock.

when i push the lock down it doesn't move that lever into, or is it out of, the differential. anyone have this problem or a DIY on how to repair? This diff lock has not worked for the last 2 winters.

i have spent about 3 times what the car is worth lately and driving around in all that snow lately made it totally worth it!

Default Re: diff lock 200q-re fuse and relay

thanks will check this as well. also found thread in archives where switch cleaning solved the problem. given that many switches in this car have been a problem over the years i guess i should not be surprised that the diff switch could fail due to poor contacts.
