I am sure the answer is no so why does my car run strong till about 6200 rpm and buck and lose power. It feels like the car pops out of gear, not that it does. Any help is appreciated.

How are your ignition components? Using any oil (and not from a leaky valve guide or stem seal)? Could be a number of things. A code dump won't hurt anything...

maybe a trottle switch !
since this is the first time i try to help somebody don't take this advice so seriously, I am pretty new, but as far as I know, trottle switch is known to break by time.
