Default Fault Code 2113

Went to start the car yesterday and it won't fire. Cranks fast, fuel pump is working, plugs, wire loom, cap and rotor are good. Ohmed out the timing reference and RPM sensors - all checks good. Pulled code 2113. Hall sensor is part of the distributor. Where is a good place to buy a distributor? How do I change it and time the thing? Anything else I should check? Thanks in advance for the help.

ahh, the good ol code #2113..... it's probably bad that i'm starting to recognize these codes. for the distributor you have a couple of options, buy new from a place like autohausaz, or ask around and try to find a good used one....

Default Distributor

So I bought a new distributor from Rock Auto. Installed and timed. The part number on the reman'd is identical to the original Bosch distributor. However, my old rotor is will not fit the reman'd distributor. The reman has a completely different mount setup and diameter from my old distributor. WTF is up with that? Would have been really nice to know I needed a different rotor for the reman'd distributor.

These cars came with either of two kinds of rotors. When I bought my tune up kit from Blau parts they would sent both kinds of rotors and instruct you to discard the one you don't need. I made a note of both Bosch part #'s for the different rotors when I went through this.

It's either part #1230 500 147
Or it's part #1234 33 2300

One of them is a bit longer with a different diameter. I did not make a note of which is which. But that's easy to figure
