Headlight bulbs keep exploding?
SO ive gone through two bulbs in the last three days.....
drivers side headlight has a chip in it so theres some moisture and condensation in there. Would that be enough to blow my bulbs if the got a condensation on them?
thanks

Re: Headlight bulbs keep exploding?
You probably know this already....but it's vital to not touch the new bulb when replacing. The oils in your hand get on the surface of the bulb which boil and cause the bulb to blow when it gets hot enough. I would think that if you get enough moisture in there that would also cause a problem such as driving in the rain and water is blowing inside the headlamp housing into the bulb socket.

Adam. it is probaly the moisture if its not a bad ground wire. way to solve it is the dump a bunch of rubbing alachole in and let it evaforate out. it will take the moisture with it. MInd you this will only remove the moisture that is in the now and wont fix the elak but it should help out.
