Got a real surprise
About a year ago I parked my '86 5KTQ next to a late 90's Lincoln Continental. There was only a few inches difference. I went home and hit the Model Guide for an '86 TQ, came up with about 3,600 lb. That is within 100lb. of the Lincoln. Since the Lincoln is faster, it made me think.
