HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so i get to the post office after a 30 miles drive and turn the car off then get back to the car and turn the key and nothing happens. When I crank the key the cat light comes on then goes off when the key is not cranked again. The car has been running 100% for months now so I am at a loss and the car is stick at the post office.

If engine does not turn over....
....then either power is not getting to the starter or the starter is not getting enough power to engage.
Does the key turn in the ignition switch like normal? Or is it super easy to turn or take more effort?
Any noises coming from the engine when you turn the key?

key is the same as ever and
it only happens after i drive 30 miles it can start and restart all day just going store to store in town then when i drive 30 miles to home it will have trouble restarting done that twice but after 5 seconds with the key cranked it goes. where the fan is for coolant on the drivers side my friend said he heard a clicking noise

So it starts...
Not sure what else is over there to click with the engine off besides the A/C clutch...
If the car starts after you hold the key all the way for five seconds, I'd take a good look at the ignition switch.

Re: ignition switch is what everyone is telling me.
Just my 2 cents. Do not know what kind of car you have, but it may be easier to test the starter (jump the solenoid to the pos terminal) than r/r the ign switch.
