Default help, runnin real rough suddenly

my 90 200 TQ with recent chip and spring starts and idle's but on my way to work this morning I tried to accelerate hard and got serious hesitation, will cruise okay but wont accel. when steppin on throttle just sputters, I checked the mm hose couldn't find anything wrong with it, gonna replace lower intercooler hose , anything i'm missing besides a vacuum leak
TIA

Default Sorry to state the obvious, but any codes?

You're prolly in the right neighborhood with the boost leak theory. Have you tried a hot start since this behavior began? If it's hard to start, then I would tend to agree with you. Are you still using the stock intercooler? Have you clamped it together?

HTH,
Jim

Default Slipped your timing belt? I sure hope not.

Catch it before it slips again and you might be OK.

I'd check your MM hose and the like first. Sounds like you blew a pipe somewhere.

Yep, start by lining up the 0-mark on the flywheel. Then check the position of the crank gear through the driver's side rear of the cover and the line should be level with the VC gasket. Then look at the distributor and make sure the lines inside all line up. If all is well then keep looking for vac leaks. Try a stick of incense. The smoke is good and thick, besides it will make your garage smell nice!
