Just posted to 4000 forum but someone here might know as well. I have 10mm of free play in my airplate. Should this be adjusted with the V-shaped spring under the plate or the mixture adj screw and where is the correct rest position?

Unless your having sever problems I won't mess with it. When the cars running the control pressure will tighten everything up, as in engine vaccuum pulling the dish up and control pressure pushing it down, I doubt there is any play when running.
