Lowbeam wiring problem?

Re: I'll try that
I'm not sure about the wire colors but I also have some connectors just laying loose but that's ok as it's suppose to be that way. Those connectors are from the original harness, and now they aren't used for the Euros. It's actually good that the guy didn't cut them. You can leave them alone or hide them if you like.

Time to learn
I haven't used a voltmeter since physics class so I'll have to re-learn that quick. I can get to work and back without headlights but my weekends are done lol.
Thanks again. I'll post up when/if I figure it out. This car is becoming a staggering list of fix-me-nows and I'm not sure it's worth the investment... although I love the car :/

Welded ground...
Bentley manual says the headlights start with a welded ground in a harness under the dash. The diagram shows the ground being in the middle of the wiring harness. What am I looking for? I can see some of the grounds the car has because there are wires bolted to the body but how the hell is there a ground in the middle of a bundle of wire??
How do I test to see if the ground is functioning?
I tried wiggle-testing most of the wires I can get to including the connectors behind each relay with no result...
