Default Major Headlight Modification (Not for the squeamish)

After putting Silverstars in my 200, those lights on the inside of the headlamps (Running lights?Parking lamps?) whatever. Seem so dingy and yellowish. Decided for 2.99 to switch out the orig bulbs to 1156A's to bring out some more color. What do you think? I think they have red and blue in these bulbs, but I think the Amber looks pretty good. Especially compared to dull whites (again, compared to the silverstars)

BTW- they do look a LOT more amber-ish? In person. The camera washes them out a little.

Default I used to have amber bulbs in there too.

Then i got eurolights, and put on french-yellow bulb condoms, and then the cops pulled me over and told me i couldn't have them. I was sad. :'(

Thats one reason I opted for amber. No cop hassles.
Also its not a Civic or Dodge Neon. So blue and red were out. I was actually IN that aisle in Pepboys. (Speed Racer Aisle)
I passed up on the
NEON shifters
Fart Can Exhaust tips
and the Chrome/anodozed/flamed racing pedals.

My self restraint is amazing. :'O

Default Thought abouut this many times kind of ala Taraus meant in a good way, I like it:+)

The only other thing you could do is match the whiteness of the headlights but the Amber is a better idea. Red and Blue would be walking a bit close to the legal line.

Default that's not major...

I think you're still running blind without euro lights.

If you rewire the amber lights to blink with the turn indicator, you can put driving or fog lights in the turn signal area.

Now that's a worthwhile major light modification.

Default Re:whaddya mean that's not major...

I was kinda joking about the "major" part. But I will be nixxing the bumper signals in favor of foglamps, though. That decision has already been made. Just trying to find a pair with the best fit so that the lamps look stock and not just like cheap foglamps. ;')

As for the euros, I'm having a little problem paying more for an upgrade than I did for the whole car itself.... Tough sell to the wife :'O

Only If I get a new Dremel Tool for christmas. Then I could PROPERLY cut away the rear bumper cover so it looks tight.....

Dont forget the Mercury Sable and the "Lighted grille" Ick- went all the way across. Like a big vacuum cleaner.

Also the 200 resembles a same era Buick Lesabre with the wide headlights.

I like the amber. Looks euro,yah? :')
