Default MC flywheel install question

Going to install the flywheel and clutch on my MC motor for my 4kq, but have a question. I think I have it figured out, but just wanted to verify.
The crank sprocket is off of the motor, I assume I need to have that on to find TDC in order to install the flywheel, correct? How would I know if the motor is off 180 degrees though, if I infact installed it incorrectly?
Sorry if these are oddball newb questions, just needing a few answers.

Default I 'think' I remember reading that the bolt pattern

only allows it to be installed in the correct rotation.
