Default My poor sedan!

I haven't driven my sedan in about two month's so saturday night I decide to start driving it a little. So I bring it home from my garage and park it in front of the house for the night. Sunday morning my girl wakes me up saying "someone stoved your car right into mine!"

Hit and run, pushed my sedan six feet into and under my girl's car. One witness, she told the police an older man in his seventies came around the turn slammed my car, backed up to drive away and hit it again. Then drove off and his plate read "SAINT".
He later told police he did drive down my street after leaving church, but he didn't hit my car in fact he never even stopped.
Some SAINT huh!

Default I'm thankful my intercooler didn't get hit or crushed

I would've been really bummed! Oh yeah and thank god for the witness who called the police! Because I've no insurance. And I would have been out big time!

Default Ouch...

How's the rear damage?

The front looks easily fixed with some junkyard parts...

That IC looks like a nice unit. I can't wait to put in my single pass IC. It's a bit longer than the factory dual pass core...

Sorry to hear about your bad luck...

Default TOX..My Poor smashed Sedan, also funny Excessive Display of Power ticket story.

Tox, i am sorry for your loss

I too was viciously hit and run. After ra 10 hour day at work i come out of Walmart to see my car bashed in. The worst part is.....because i have painted my own car, i like to park in the boondocks of the parking lot, or in the back. Understandable. I don't know if anyone has been watching the news, but Here in Las Vegas, we have had Record rain. 3 inches in 20 minutes. anyways. When i reach my car, i see the damage, and skidmarks all the way too it. So i run to the security booth, and ask to see the cameras. Just two minutes befor i walk out, a white chevy s10 comes slidding sidways and sideswipes my car. gets out looks at the damage, looks at the camera and drives away. DAMN las vegas drivers and their lack of knowlege in the rain......
..You will also see a ticket I received the next night(tonight). Funny story actually. It is 11 at night and i am comming home from my girls house. I get to a mainroad that i am making a left onto a 55 mph zone that doesn't have stop signs. I stop at the stop sign, and then drop the clutch and rip out onto traffic and there are 2 cars comming on both lanes. I knew i had enough time, and the cars never came within 20 yards of my car. I get pulled over and the officer is hot. he first tells me he is going to write me for "pulling out" in front of him, and for "speeding". I kindly asked him to difine Pulling out. And he said that if you pull out in front of someone to the point where they have to brake or change their path, then it is pulling out. I then ask him how i was speeding. He replies" i had to speed up to catch you." Let me get this strait. "I am getting a ticketed for pulling out in front of you but you had to speed up to pull me over?" i said. He chages his direction realizing the stupidity of that whole argument and tells me that he is writting me a ticket for "excessive use of power",a compliment in my opinion.
I would have let it be at that, however he tells me that the excessiveness part of the ticket was due to my front tires "burning out" on launch. RIGHT. I point to my tires, brand new Yoko AVS, and say, "My car is fulltime AWD, and those are brand new ultra grippy Yrated Tires with 95 miles on them. You couldn't have seen that." Well taht was my downfall. He didn't like being called a lier. I got the ticket. plus for my antics, no front plate ticket too.
can anyone else say they got a ticket for Displaying excessive power?

Oh yea, i thought i forgot somethingThose Vegas floods caused me to forge many roads. I spent the whole day wetvacin all the water and dirt off my floors. By my car didn't get stuck like many of those others.

Hank
87 5ktq Blacked out
IA chip 1.9 bar straped IC. H&R, TSW Blades with new YOKO AVS tires. BPV, I want to do a megasquirt system, but don't have time, so most likely.........
EFI 034 on the way. completing costum header.
Then i'll be able to break my tires loose with these stickyass tires. because right now, it is pretty darn tough if not impossible.
