Default A new knock sensor shuts the check engine light off. Finally...

I have been thinking about doing this for a while. Always have the feeling that it may not worth it. It costs me $125 from Scott at SJM. The worst part is the installation. It's soooooooo hard to reach. Mine has one knock sensor. I think the dual knock sensors car is relatively easy to reach. I would say it is harder to reach than the air filter.

Anyway, the ECU is happy. But I really don't feel that much of a difference when test drive it. Maybe this will save me some gas dollars?

Sounds like you got off easy on the knock sensor...

When it went bad on my 5ks the car would barely run...
