Err um... that would be rally
Looks like one of the Grp-A typ-44 rally cars. I know it's picky to differentiate between rally and drifting... I'm just annoyed how popular drifting is and how dark-ages rally still is in the USA.
I suppose if rally could be done in a place where spectators and sponsors could watch from a single seat in the grandstands then it would be a bigger sport.
gripe mode = off

BIG sponsor? How about any sponsor!
To be very fair the local butcher shop "Paulina Meat Market" donated a couple hundred dollars worth of meats and stuff for me and the crew. At OFPR we were the best fed team there! Smoked pork tenderloin rolled in pepper corns...!!! Yum! Plus other assorted nums!
But yeah, I see drifters getting TV time, magazine time and general attention that I think (remember my opinion) should be shared at least somehow with us rally'ers! Going sideways is fun, doing it in a controlled environment is somewhat interesting but come-on, is it nearly as spectacular as watching someone do it in a rally car on a gravel road with trees all around???? I guess you know I don't think so. Let's not even get me started on how un-sung the crews are...
Feel free to sponsor me whenever I get back into a new car.
