Resistor Fan Pack

Resistor Fan Pack
Alrighty, i'm wondering if anyone here has bypassed theirs to a switch to be able to turn their fan on at will, rather than with the climate control. or if anyone know's how. my bentley is out at the shop, so i don't know which terminal on the pack is which, and mine's dead. doesn't turn the fan on on bi-level or defrost anymore. I got a spare from adam, but it ruined itself trying to get the heavily corroded nuts off.
I've got some ice racing to do on sunday, and am thinking with the studs i'll be running, i might wanna have some fan control!
thanks!
Jeff

Only if desperate . . .
In a pinch, you could run a wire from +12v to a SPST normally open panel switch. Connect the other terminal of this switch to the hot coil terminal of the fan speed 3 relay.
Notice that the hot terminal of the fan motor has two large wires to one terminal: one wire is from the resistor pack; the other is from fan speed 3's relay contacts.
It's a kludge, and I wouldn't do it (unless desperate).
