Squealing, SCREAMING brakes (5KCST, '86)
Were the rotors replaced on the first job or only the pads? My brake job done at home was less than a $100.00 with new rotors. Not a bit of noise afterward.
How old are them rotors? If they're old replace them or have them ground. That should get rid of the squeal...
Clicking in the rear sounds like a bad CV/halfshaft.

- Carefully cleaned pad slots in caliper. LIGHTLY and CAREFULLY applied some high temp brake grease to same surfaces. IMO this being loaded up with factory pad dust and not allowing pads free movement was my main problem.
- Carefully and evenly applied anti-squeal compound (incorrectly known as 'glue') to
- Aftermarket pads
- Turned the rotors for a new surface
Sounds like your guy did this the 2nd time but perhaps the pads/rotors were glazed already. He could have sanded/scuffed them up to break the glaze at the same time...
try thepartsconnection for rotors and pads.
