Default Trip computer is lit up but no display......

a week or so ago I was checking fuses just for routine maintenence and ever since then my trip display does not come on. It cant be the fuse because the fuse for the trip also works the instrument cluster lights...and they all come on.

what did I do!!!!????

the trip is backlit as it should be but there's no display.

Please help......

Default Not sure what could have happened

but could you reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a while?

Default Reboot the carnsarnnit thing!

Like Tony said, it prolly has an issue with a break in the juice while you fiddled with the fuses. Hate that thing, fun when it works though. Anyone ever had their car exorcised?

Do a battery dis and reconnect and see what happens.

Adam,
On the 200Q, when the computer is messed up its usually the contacts where the instrument panel sections plug in. Some kind of contact cleaner/contact enhancing drops were the quattro list approved solutions. I can't remember the name of the stuff right now...

Default Bet it was DEOXIT

Great stuff. Sort of like CRC on steroids.

Available at most electronic parts stores or from the manufacturer:

http://www.caig.com/</a
