Yes and no
there are a couple of external differences. Nothing that cant be taken care of if you have both tranny's in front of you.
Internally the AGZ (4.2)has a few updates that make it the more durable unit.
I've heard the AGZ works just fine with any earlier control unit but I havent had reason to try doing that. Still I'd bet its true. If its not swapping the controller is easy anway.

Mmmm i dont have that tranny, sorry. You have auto tranny quttro right. Very hard to find and if you find i ll lucky. I ll look at it if my friend manager can find one.
It does not shift cause some of solenoids in the tranny is broken.My friend( the same ) told me the is some solenoides modules inside auto tranny and cost 1300cnd$ each. he could not buy separate the solen from the rest of the modules.
