They are some euro badges that I picked up. I'm planning on making some turbo and exhaust mods, already have the Porsche brakes and thought that these might be a nice custom addition. I'll do away with the Quattro badge on the grill.

To each their own, but, I think it's pretty tacky badging a car with a badge that isn't that car.

I'm not a fan of removing the original ornamentation on cars but I will say I like those. In the photo they look like they could be cufflinks! Which would be cool. ha ha.

Ronny you and me are the only ones who like em. One response of 50 lookers on MG cared to say that they were gay too.

You have asked a question to which most Type 44 owners will answer the same way...
That said, it is your car and you can do what you like. The fact that this original S car (as many refer to it) was delivered without badges from the factory and yet had the go fast goodies has always been an attraction. Nobody looks at our cars and expects them to move as well as they do. The sleeper element is what many of us enjoy. My 19 year old Avant still surprises people when I jump on it... and I like that. I don't like all the badging on the trunk but at least it doesn't say 'turbo' on there. It does say Quattro and I don't mind that. So... if it was my ride I'd keep it clean looking.... but it is your ride and I think that you can do as you like. I'd just be darned sure that you can beat a real RS2. That's my $0.02...

my official stance on the subject

Yeah I was one of the 50 peepers. I actually did type in that one on air filter cover top would look k00l, but I deleted it. I seen an //scar guy do it..Austin (yoda)...the one MG'er to RE:'d.....has seen the same exact car as well.
But I say........if you are running RS stuff....& you know how I feel about that garbage!!!!....but if you are running it display it proudley. But do it on the pass side rear trunk lid.
BUT, if you don't have it......don't put the badges on! Thats just plain criminal!

No like boxerfan and you said I wouldn't run them till I can back it up, Keith gave me
some really great ideas for some hop ups but they aren't RS-2 based. They are however pretty stealth. I need more information from him(and a decent job again)before I start, but this thing is gonna fly low...;=)
I know you won't steer me wrong.
