Default Do you have any enemies that work at starbucks? Seriously though, thats normal....

Its just a litte water mixed with oil. I get it sometimes too. condensation buildup in the valve cover probably.

Now, if you pull your dipstick and see the same thing.....we've got problems

Default Uh, that's mud, or oil and water mixing...Not good....

Usually when a head gasket goes that is what you see, although yours seems to be more milky than I have seen, but otherwise not a good sign. Sorry.

A lot of times you can have the head redone a good local machine shop for about $250 or so and swap it out yourself. I helped my friend with his 4kq (same engine) and it wasn't that bad, but leave a weekend to do it.

That's normal???? I have never seen that as normal. I have only seen that when the HG is bad.

Default If he pulls his dipstick and see's the same thing I'd agree with you

Otherwise, Im sticking with condensation from heat inside and cold outside or a leakey oil cap seal.

Default Are we talking on the dipstick near where the O-ring is or actually in your oil at the bottom......

If possible, could you take a pic of it for me?

Default god its hard to get a good pic of it

its definently on the dipstick up higher for sure, now it doesnt look like its in the oil but after i tried to take some pictures of it it seemed like it was but i think it just mixed in as i was messign with it ya know? but when i first took it out it didnt look like any was in the oil that was on it, i checked in 20 minutes ago when i first saw the white stuff though so maybe i wiped it all off then?
