yep just check to make sure they dont rub the rear fenders

the older style s4 wheels were 16x8" and the newer b5 s4 with the avus style wheel is 17x8 iirc, the a4 wheel is 16x7. are you getting the a4 or s4 wheels, if the s4 wheels.. what stlye are they?
to answer your question- a4 wheels do fit the type44 without rubbing issues.
