Will H&R's from a 20vt fit on an 86 5ktq?
As in without mods to spring perches and the like? I'm assuming the fronts may be set up for the slightly heavier 20vt but I'm hoping it should all work...or not?

I have Eibachs previously installed on a 200Q20V on my 1987 5ktq
So, I'm curious. These eibach springs came from a friend, I thought they set the rear a little low on his 1991 20VT, he agreed. Off they came and were installed on my 5ktq, see picture poster.
Am curious why you say it *can't* fit...

Aha! God I love you guys...Okay so it CAN be done...now then why are some saying it can't?
I called H & R today, they gave me the big "nada". Two completely different applications, front and rear springs are different..but no idea why they cannot be interchanged other than "because the book says so"...can't blame the poor guy on the phone but I had hoped for a better answer.
Were there any problems doing the install on your car Type44QShip?
Long story short, I want lowering springs if anyone has a set please let me know.

No trouble installing whatsoever.
They rode a little low in back on the 200Q20V, maybe they really were 5ktq spec springs. I don't know. However, they installed, with no modification, on either car.

That's interesting...
So my 200 H&Rs will fit... The question then become what effect will the extra 600lbs the V8 weighs have? Obviously it will sit lower. I wonder how much.
