Default 2.3L i-5 (ng)

I have a 91 Audi 80 FWD 5-sp with this engine currently in it. The last owner obviously didnt take care of it , so I'm not sure if I should try to rebuild the engine thats currently in the car or go for something better. I was looking at the 2.2L Turbo I-5, or the 2.8L (i think its 2.8) V-6. Any suggestions?

Default 20v

Can the 20V head bolt on to the 10v block? It should right? Since its basically the same engine. Do they make Aftermarket turbo manifolds for the 5-cyl or am I going to have to get one from a 5000/200 Turbo

for 10v and 20v advice i am not the one to talk to. lol. I would assume they dont being ppl whould do that other then doing the whole motor swap. I'm sure there is a manifold u can use for the 10v and a turbo. i thing others will chime in here soon and maybe more helpful. I would not do the v6 swap. IMP to much of a pain. ever think of a 1.8t? what ever your planing on doing hope u have alot $$ saved up. my project is pushing the 6k mark and i'm keeping the stock 4cyl motor. lol

Default 1.8T

I thought about it, but theres way too many sensors then I feel like wiring (no to mention cost would be higher). Besides I like having a 5-cyl. Gives me something to be proud of :-)

2.8L V6? Sell and buy a FWD '93-'95 90...not worth the effort!

Default Rare FWD 5-cyl? All 80/90s for '91/'92 had'm...was an option on '88-'90 90s though...

...now the 5-speed with the 5-cyl is rare (on FWD of course)!
