Default 2 questions

I need to replace my tie rod ends and sway bar links and I think I got a handle on the sway bar links, I just wondered if the tie rod ends twist off the tie rod? or is there anything else to it? I'm sure they won't come off easy, I just wanted to know if removing the bolt and unscrewing them gets them off. I STFA and it seems like this is the procedure.

second thing is about engine hesitation. I've cleaned my ISV recently and it shows about 8 ohms of resistance so it shouldn't be the problem. Today I took off in first gear and then the car just stopped accelerating as I watched the RPM's drop slightly, then with my foot on the gas in the same position something got unstuck or something and it accelerated like it was supposed to. What does this sound like to you guys? I was thinking maybe the TB needs cleaned? Any advice is helpful.

TIA
