The white line would go to the heater valve that has been bypassed on your car. Do you have manual or digital climate controls? So cars came with a heater valve some did not just straight pipe with sensor. You need not worry about hooking it up unless you replace the heater valve. For now just cap it off.
Digital climate control, I just traced it under the dash and it curls up towards the center.

My climate control works without issue so I guess the diff lock was the only hose that needed to be addressed, and the FPR hose that was disconnected also.

Would it be worth my time to tear out the instrument cluster and check the connections in the back?

Would an improper ground to the ECU cause this stalling effect?

Or is this just a result of the wrong FPR and the computer constantly having to accommodate?

If you find a Hitachi injector is the problem, PM me as I have a few that I don't need which you can have cheap. Ironically, mine had idle issues last month before I replaced all the injectors and now with essentially no changes to other things that matter, the injectors solved it.

Not sure this applies, but when I had my 90 CQ, my idle would almost drop to stall, and beleive it or not the solution was a new oil filler cap!

So rockauto offers an airtex/wells or standard motor FPR (pn034133534F) for around $300. I seem to remember someone telling me those were probably for the NG, and the CIS FPRs are far more expensive.

Does anybody have a source for the 4.2bar 7A fuel pressure regulator?
