61k on '95 90Q. Too early for waterpump/timing belt?
I just hit 61k on my '95 90Q. I've heard that now is a good time to do the timing belt; does anyone have any suggestions? Some garages that I've called say it's a little early. The manual says 90k, but that's pushing it in my opinion.
What other work should be considered at 60k?

Re: You wont know for certain until current belt is inspected very closely!
Pull the plastic timing belt covers and take a close look at the timing belt, water pump and idler pulley.

Just the sight will probably scare you into changing the belt right there and then!
Mine was soaked in oil from the leaking cam shaft seal, and crank shaft seal! Yikes!
My water pump was fine but the idler pulley was about to go! This was at 69K.

Changing the thermo-stat while your there is a good idea too!
