Default '93 90CS takes long time to warm up....please read

i get minor hesitation in the first minute or two driving but then everything's fine...

also, my temp gauge needle moves slowly and takes a good amount of time to get to the "middle" temperature

is this normal?

Default It's normal if your thermostat isn't working

It's not normal if it is.

Default Thermostat stuck open more than likely

How hot is your rad and water pipes?

If it's warm instead of too hot to touch after a journey then your thermostat has problems closing, continuely recirculating the coolant instead of letting it sit in the waterways to heat to the operating temp.

Default Same here...

Mine is the same and I had thermostat changed twice. It's probably the switch. In the meantime I just got used to it. It'll work if the car was to overheat for example...
