Default '94 Audi 90: Oil Light Problems

Hi Guys, lookin for some answers...

My Audi 90s Quattro: the oil light will go on and and off continuously. I've changed my oil, made sure it's always topped up, changed the oil filter everything........

Here's the thing: the car is 100% fine. The light goes on and beeps and then goes off, 5 minutes later again, and again and again. Now, It's been a couples months and the car couldn't run any smoother.

Has this happened to anyone before? Can anyone offer me a course of action to take?

PLEASE HELP!??

Default Oil low sensor is either disconnected or has gone out.

Default Low oil pressure switch

I'd replace the low & high oil pressure switchs first, they're pretty cheap, one is on the oil filter housing and one is on the head I think.
Also inspect the wiring from the switch too, if thats not it its most likly a short in the instrument cluster.

Default CountyJudge has a point

Do you get any voltage from the wiring coming from the oil low sensor? If you getting it there follow it till it stops. IIRC the light goes off when there is not voltage. you have a broken wire, or like he said instrament custer issues. Hope this helps. I do know the pain of beep beep beep. very annoying.
