ABS Problems continued

I tried taking out all the wheel sensors and cleaning them, however my ABS light still comes on sometimes while driving. It seems to correspond to hitting the "right" bump to make it happen.

Any ideas?

My ABS has not worked for years.....I perfer the car without it on.

shot sensors

i had a mechanic show me whats the deal with the sensors. there is a plastic cap that gets worn down and the sensor has to be just right to work. my sensors were actually worn down to which they would not work correctly. luckily this was on my 88 with override and like lexus said, i like stadard brakes better then abs.
